Since it was made official in 1977, the International Women’s Day has been an opportunity to take stock of the place of women: to celebrate the progress made, express demands and improve the situation. At Lab’Science, we’re taking this time to highlight the important place that women hold within our organization. And to do so with pride, since they are at the heart of our network and occupy key positions on which a large part of our activities depend.
Beyond any symbolic aspect, we see every day the structural force they represent and the practical applications that result from them.
First of all, we realize how far we have come by analyzing Nora’s job description, our administrative and accounting manager. Multiplication of tasks, increased responsibilities, wider range of skills… Overview of the panorama: accounting assignment for several companies in the network, issuing invoices, managing collections, complete supplier and tax cycle, contract and payroll management for eight companies, harmonization of practices, training of new staff, audit assignments, banking and legal communication…
I think we should see ourselves as guides within the network: creating, disseminating and accompanying. This is absolutely crucial for harmonizing the work and ensuring effective methods in the long term.

At the same time, Aurélia orchestrates the management of the Ducré company with one hand and the HR part of Lab’Science with the other, helped in this by Nora and Lise. For her part, Aurore is increasing her skills and responsibility to take over when necessary and allow her colleagues to concentrate on particularly time-consuming areas of work. The synergy that takes place within the teams and the quality of internal communication improve the networking that is at the heart of Lab’Science.
Thanks to Aurelia, Nora & Lise, I gained self-confidence and autonomy. The strength of LAB’SCIENCE is to be able to work in a team.
Aurore Morançais
We should also mention Julie, who develops applications that are particularly useful for field teams, manages a large part of the social networks and contributes to the good health of our computer network. As for Lise, she supports, advises and guides all the entities of the Lab’Science network on the VAT part, the quality approaches and processes, and the various accounting systems to be implemented and applied on a daily basis. The richness of Adèle’s position contributes to this dynamic: recruitment, financial and accounting management, management and training…
Without forgetting all those who, behind the scenes, help to federate an entire network through their commitment, human qualities and adaptability in a constantly changing work environment.
I don’t feel any difference between women and men within the network. At Lab’Science, we are taken seriously and we are seen at our true value. There are prospects for evolution, I find that very motivating. There is a great cohesion between the employees, which is very enriching. You don’t feel alone, it’s important.

Let’s not forget this reality: companies managed by women have an average profitability of 36% higher than that of men, with better working conditions. Much more than a question of equality or parity, it is a reflection on equity that drives Lab’Science and allows us to highlight the women who form the foundation, the structural strength of our company. And we can testify to our deep satisfaction in seeing that it is the women of Lab’Science who guarantee equity in our ranks. And that is something.
